Opinions
Opinions are acquired, not created. The originality of an opinion usually comes from combining or sequencing the thoughts that we've acquired; but most of our opinions are based on something we saw, something we heard, or something we read. In other words, our opinions come from others. So what's my point here? Well, if the opinion you are holding is not actually yours, but is one you have chosen to adopt, then why hold on to it so tightly, when it was never yours to begin with? Why resist an opinion that contradicts the one you hold, when they both came from the same place? If they both came from others, then would it be that far fetched to believe that the contradicting opinion may actually be better than the one you have? and if that is the case, then what would be so wrong with embracing something new?
